We’ve been working with a professional-grade printable vinyl lately and it’s some pretty awesome stuff! I was able to design and print out different logos, decals, and full Nerf gun vinyl wraps to help me with making Borderlands-style Nerf guns for cosplay. Also, I’m getting better at product photography!
The custom vinyl and customized Nerf guns will be in our shop soon (like right now) with more to come! There’s so many paint schemes and guns that I want to work with!
We’ve had a ton of people ask us about our decals – where we get them, how to make them, etc. Well the answer is – we make them ourselves and now you can get them from us! There are three different designs available, in all sorts of shapes and sizes, with more coming soon.
We have been so busy lately with barely any time to write, but we do have a brand new item for sale, and we hope you enjoy it – It’s Mad Moxxi’s belt buckle! Photos don’t really do it justice so we’re going to try to take some better pics soon, but it’s on sale now so get your holiday shopping done early!
Oh yeah, Borderlands 2. You may have gathered that MeowyMeowMeow has been hopped up on Borderlands 2 since it came out last year. And this game brings out some sickeningly fun cosplay. This is just one portion of the very large group meetup at ACEN:
Made it back from Anime Central (also known as ACEN), where a good time was had by all! We’ve been going to ACEN for many years now, and it is one of the largest anime conventions in the midwest – the unofficial count we heard was about 26,000 people this year.
As always, the costumes at ACEN were a highlight, and no genre or character was off limits – anime, video games, sci-fi, children’s cartoons, and of course: Pedo-Bear.
I don’t care if it comes out and no big developers make games for it. I don’t care if it comes out and nobody buys it because it’s “too expensive” or “isn’t in 1080 HD” or “all the motion makes me throw up”. I don’t even care if it has some horrible flaw like the 360′s RROD, or that it overheats after an hour. It’s still in a dev kit form, and there’s already a middleware and 3D drivers that let you play older Unity, Cryengine, Creative Engine, and Unreal Engine games in 3D.
We sold out of the pre-orders and the first round of amulets so quickly that we ran out of supplies! But don’t worry – we have everything you need to start making them again. Get one for yourself (or buy the set) over at our shop.
